Our Restaurant and Bar have recently been refurbished in a unique fashion retaining a lot of the history and story of the building. Wood burning stoves, families and dogs all go to make a very warm and welcome atmosphere at the Bell House.
The menu is carefully and expertly created by our team of chefs using only the best quality and freshest ingredients available. There is always a good selection of special dishes to choose from so be sure to check the board.
Our ingredients are delivered daily from local, traceable sources including Bartlett & Sons of Bath, Hedonist Bakery and Rowdey Cow Ice Cream – these suppliers are considered some of the best in their field.
To supplement your meal we stock an interesting and varied wine list with something for everybody. At a recent blind wine tasting the Conde de Valdemar Rioja Crianza 2008 came out as the most popular so be sure to give this one a try.
Our talented team of chefs source fresh, seasonal and local produce and use it to create dishes from scratch. Our meat is supplied by Bartletts of Bath and Walter Rose of Devizes. All of our fish is sustainable and is delivered daily by Kingfisher of Brixham, the majority of our fresh vegetables are grown locally in Bromham and are supplied to us by Lovejoys of Melksham, our ice creams are made by Rowdey Cow. Our Post Office serves Illy coffee, stocks Hedonist bread, cakes by Acorn Cakes and we serve our own home made savoury pies.
